In January of 2015 God opened the door for Evangelists Thomas & Melissa Climer to go to East Africa to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This would be their first overseas mission. As a result of the services held there in Malawi and Chikwawa, souls were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Brother Climer also had the opportunity to lead a Muslim to Jesus Christ. They also witnessed the healing power of Jesus Christ, as a young man who was seriously ill asked for prayer. Since returning home from the Crusade in September 2015, they have received testimonies from the Pastor there in Malawi of how the Gospel has spread, resulting in more souls being saved.

In November 2015 God opened the door to Tanzania Africa and in August 2016 Brother Climer, Sister Melissa, and daughter Micaela traveled to Tanzania to Preach the Gospel. After the services there they traveled on to Malawi to hold preaching and teaching services there for the second year. 

From 2015 to 2018 Family Worship Center has taken the Gospel into Mexico, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, and Pakistan. Where the people were taught the Message of the Cross and many souls were saved and lives changed as a result of pastor’s meetings, outdoor crusades, and indoor church services. 

The Holy Spirit moved mightily in the services in each country with souls coming to Jesus Christ in almost every daily services. Believers were also filled with the Holy Spirit as Brother and Sister Climer preached and taught on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. 

The Lord spoke to FWC in Athens Tennessee recently and said that this church would become a Missionary Headquarters for the Gospel to go forth and many doors will be opened. God is beginning to do exactly as He said and we are asking for your year round prayers and financial support for this work. Jesus said to the Church of Philadelphia (Revelations 3:7-8): “I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it.” This was also a massage God gave Brother Climer in 2014 just before these opportunities came about.
